Terms

These terms are between you and MakeHelm Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17433308), registered office 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA (“we”), who run Wedding Draft at weddingdraft.com. By using the planner you agree to them. The Wedding Pass is sold to you by Stripe as merchant of record; Stripe's checkout terms apply to the payment itself.

The planner

• You can use the planner for free, without an account. Some features need the Wedding Pass (below).
• It is a planning aid. Room sizes, capacities, spacing checks and fire-exit warnings are guides only: always confirm the layout, capacity and fire safety with your venue.
• We work hard to keep it running and your plans safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Keep an export of anything you can't lose.

Your account and your plans

• Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account.
• Your layouts are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the planner for you and the people you invite.
• Your guest list contains other people's details. Add only what you need to plan the day and make sure you're allowed to share it with us (see Privacy).
• Don't use the planner to break the law, upload anything you don't have the right to, or attack or overload the service.

The Wedding Pass

• One payment, no subscription. The price is shown before you pay, in US dollars, euros or pounds. UK and EU prices include VAT; US sales tax, where it applies, is added at checkout.
• It covers one wedding — its layouts and the people you invite to them — and lasts until three months after the wedding date (or 18 months from purchase if you haven't set a date).
• What it unlocks is described in the planner when you choose it. If we remove a Pass feature while your Pass is active, we'll give you an equivalent, or refund the Pass in full if you ask.
• Refunds: see Refunds. A refunded Pass stops unlocking features; your layouts stay.

Ending things

You can delete your wedding or your whole account at any time from the account menu. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. Weddings are deleted automatically 12 months after the wedding date (once the plan hasn't been changed for 12 months; we email the owner at least 30 days before).

Liability

• We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or not using reasonable care and skill. We aren't responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable.
• The planner is for planning your own wedding, not for business use: we aren't responsible for business losses (lost profit, lost business or business interruption).
• It is a planning aid, so we aren't responsible for decisions about your venue, its capacity or its safety made on the strength of the planner's checks: confirm them with your venue.
• Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't let us limit. Nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer: for example, that digital content is as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in your local courts.

We may update these terms; if a change matters, we'll say so in the planner and, if you have an account, by email. The terms in force when you bought your Pass apply to that Pass.
